SUMAN BISWAS

Hello, I’m Suman Biswas, a dedicated and versatile professional with a strong academic foundation in Civil Engineering and a growing passion for education and lifelong learning.

I completed my B. Tech in Civil Engineering from Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2010 and began my career with GPT Infraprojects Ltd. as an Assistant Engineer through campus recruitment. There, I gained extensive hands-on experience in railway bridge construction, supervising various structural works, preparing bar bending schedules and bills, and coordinating with clients and senior engineers to ensure project quality and efficiency.

After a year in that role, I pursued further technical specialization through professional training in AutoCAD with AutoLISP and STAAD Pro V8i at Jadavpur University, as well as Revit Architecture from CADD Centre. In 2013, I joined SGS India Pvt. Ltd. as an Inspection Engineer, where I was responsible for monitoring the quality of road construction, preparing detailed progress reports, and assisting senior officers in technical assessments.

Driven by a desire to deepen my academic and research expertise, I completed my M. Tech in Structural Engineering from Narula Institute of Technology (2013–2015), focusing my research on slag-based high-strength concrete. Subsequently, I joined Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering and Management as an Assistant Professor, where for over three years I taught various civil engineering subjects, guided student projects, conducted laboratory sessions, organized seminars, and actively contributed to academic excellence.

Continuing my commitment to education, I earned a Diploma in Elementary Education (2020–2022) and qualified in the West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WBTET) 2022. I also hold a one-year Diploma in Computer Application from the Jawaharlal Nehru Computer Saksharta Mission, which strengthened my proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general computer operations.

I possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with fluency in English, Bengali, and Hindi. I am adept in quantitative aptitude, reasoning, general knowledge, and current affairs, and have also developed insights into investment and financial systems.

I am currently seeking a growth-oriented role in a reputed organization, particularly in the construction, banking sector, or teaching profession, where I can effectively utilize my technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and communication skills while continuing to learn and contribute meaningfully to institutional success.
